Defense forces destroyed a Russian radar system worth at least $60 million
Ukrainian defense forces struck a Russian “Kasta-2E2” radar station, estimated to be worth $60 million. Throughout September 20 and into the night of September 21, the Ukrainian military also carried out strikes against other key enemy targets.
The Russian Army’s radar station was struck near the village of Pikuz in Donetsk Oblast. The “Kasta-2E2” (39N6) is a mobile radar station designed to detect aircraft, missiles, and drones, particularly at low altitudes. Its operating range was up to 150 km.
According to the General Staff, the estimated cost of such a radar station starts at $60 million. In addition, the Defense Forces struck a Russian military drone control center. The target was located near Dniproenergo in the Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian military also carried out another strike on Russian territory. A concentration of Russian army personnel was hit in the Stary Khutor area of the Belgorod region.

As a reminder, Russia has been attacking two districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region since this evening; there is one casualty.
Russia also struck Lozova, damaging the train station and causing one fatality.
On September 21, Russia attacked two districts in the Kyiv region.
