In Rivne, the occupiers tried to recruit a 13-year-old teenager

Russian intelligence agencies attempted to recruit a 13-year-old resident of Rivne to carry out acts of sabotage. Through a Telegram channel, unknown individuals offered the boy money to set cars on fire, after which his mother contacted the police.

 

The teenager demonstrated responsible civic behavior by immediately informing his mother, who then notified law enforcement.

Police in the Rivne region warn:

  • be cautious with strangers online; do not share personal information with them;
  • tell adults about new online acquaintances;
  • avoid visiting websites with questionable content;
  • if you receive offers to commit acts of sabotage for money, immediately call the police at 112 or 102.
