In December 2025, a memorial wall honoring fallen Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers was unveiled in the small town of Kalach in the Voronezh Region. At that time, the bottom row of commemorative plaques was still nearly empty, but by August 2026, there were practically no empty spaces left. It seems that a fourth row will soon have to be added to accommodate new portraits.

Without realizing it, local authorities have created a telling symbol of this war: with each passing month, there is less and less free space on the wall, while the number of portraits of fallen Ukrainian soldiers continues to grow.
