Russia says it will not publicly discuss Trump's peace plan
Russia is not ready to publicly discuss various versions of the US peace plan to end the war in Ukraine.
This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, according to Russian media reports.
“We are not ready to discuss some details of what is happening, including various versions of this peace plan, publicly. Time and attention are needed for the dialogue process to continue,” Ryabkov said.
He claimed that Moscow is ready for further consultations but complained about the “lack of political will” on the part of the Americans to adhere to any agreements reached at the Alaska summit.
Recall that the US peace plan for Ukraine caused chaos and division in the White House. The 28-point plan was reportedly based on a Russian document.
