In the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation, drones attacked four ships in Taganrog Bay

In Russia’s Rostov Region, a drone attack occurred overnight on four vessels in the waters of Taganrog Bay. According to official information from the Russian side, one crew member was killed as a result of the strike.

Four vessels of various types, which were in Taganrog Bay, were targeted in the attack.

The victim of the attack was a sailor on a support vessel who, according to Russian authorities, was killed during the incident.

According to the governor, Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down more than 15 drones.

He said the drones were destroyed over Taganrog, as well as in the Azov and Neklin districts of the Rostov region.

According to Russian media reports, among the vessels attacked was a tanker carrying methanol.

At the same time, Russian officials state that there is no risk of a hazardous substance leak and that the vessels sustained only minor damage.

This was reported by Yuriy Slyusar, governor of the Rostov region.

In addition, on the night of July 10, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of strategic Russian military logistics facilities. The strikes hit 18 vessels, the Ilsk Oil Refinery, oil terminals, and fuel depots.

Furthermore, on the night of July 8, strike drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a military airfield in Borisoglebsk, Voronezh Oblast, Russia. This airbase is home to aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which are used for both combat and training missions.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have reduced the strength of the Russian army by another 1,260 troops. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces released updated data on enemy losses as of July 8, also reporting the destruction of a significant amount of enemy equipment.
