In Sumy, three people, including a child, were injured when a Russian drone struck a high-rise building
Last night, Sumy came under attack by Russian drones. At least two UAVs were recorded striking the city’s civilian infrastructure. One of the drones struck the balcony of an apartment in a high-rise building, injuring three people, including a child.
“One drone struck a high-rise building in the Kovpakivskyi district. It hit the balcony of one of the apartments. Preliminary reports indicate that three people were injured, including a child. Information regarding their condition is being verified. The victims are receiving the necessary assistance,” wrote Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional State Administration.
Grigorov also added that another enemy drone attacked the central part of the regional capital. A non-residential building was damaged.
“Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties here. The full extent of the damage is being assessed,” the head of the Regional State Administration emphasized.
As a reminder, Russia attacked the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, causing a fire.
Prior to this, Russian drones struck the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in injuries.
Five State Emergency Service rescuers were killed as a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv.
