Russia launched a massive attack on Trostyanets in the Sumy region
On the night of Tuesday, June 17, 2026, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on the city of Trostyanets in the Sumy region.
The enemy attack caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure and residential areas. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries among the local population.
The head of the community noted that the strike was powerful and caused serious material damage to the city. Emergency services and municipal utilities immediately began work at the sites of the strikes.
Yuriy Bova described the consequences of the nighttime shelling in detail: “A difficult night. A massive strike on Trostyanets. Gas stations in the city have been destroyed. Many homes have been damaged.”
