Russians attacked a riding school in the Sumy region and killed the animals
Russian occupation forces launched a strike overnight using a drone against the grounds of an equestrian sports school in the Sumy region.
The enemy attack resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure and the death of animals.
Fortunately, no people or employees of the school were injured.
The head of the regional military administration emphasized that the enemy deliberately targeted this peaceful institution. The Russian army attacked a facility that was visited daily by minors for sports activities.
According to regional authorities, the enemy drone’s main strike hit the stable building directly. Emergency services and the facility’s administration are currently cleaning up the aftermath of the strike and assessing the extent of the damage.
The regional governor confirmed that horses inside the building were killed in the attack.
Oleg Grigorov commented on the consequences of the nighttime attack: “Last night, the enemy attacked the grounds of the equestrian sports school in the Sumy region with a drone. The Russians deliberately struck a civilian facility where children—students of the school—trained every day. The strike hit the stables. Unfortunately, some horses were killed.”
In addition to this incident, the security situation in the border region remains extremely tense due to the constant terror against the civilian population.
Law enforcement officers in Sumy Oblast have recorded numerous strikes on other settlements over the past 24 hours. According to police, four people sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of enemy shelling.
Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, officially reported the cynical attack on the sports facility on social media.
