Residents are being evacuated in Taganrog following a drone attack
In Taganrog, Russia, following a nighttime drone attack, an emergency evacuation of residents from buildings located in the emergency zone has begun. Rescue workers are still trying to extinguish the fire that broke out after the strike.
According to Kambulova, the danger of drone attacks in Taganrog persists, which is why local authorities are evacuating the population.
“The drone threat in the city persists. We are currently rapidly evacuating people whose homes are located within the emergency zone,” she said.
Rescue workers are currently continuing to evacuate people from the danger zone, though authorities have not officially specified the reason for the emergency measures.
Earlier, Yuriy Slyusar, governor of the Rostov Region, reported that a fire broke out following a drone attack on the territory of the Taganrog seaport.
According to him, the fire also damaged the roof of an administrative building.
According to official information from Russian authorities, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the attack.
At the same time, firefighting efforts are ongoing, and the situation in the port area remains tense.

On the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula, local residents report ongoing power outages, fuel shortages, rising prices, and problems with social infrastructure. According to them, the situation is particularly difficult in the northern regions of the peninsula.
As a reminder, Ukraine has claimed to have struck 19 Russian tankers carrying fuel for Crimea.
