In Vinnytsia, the number of people injured in the Russian drone attack has risen to 20; one person has been killed
In Vinnytsia, the number of people injured in the Russian drone attack on March 24 has risen to 20, seven of whom have been hospitalized.
This was reported by Mayor Serhiy Morgunov on Telegram.
Seventy-one residential buildings were damaged. Among the affected structures are a kindergarten, the Sadovsky Music and Drama Theater, and the summer theater in the park.
Earlier, the head of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, Natalia Zabolotna, reported 18 injured and damage to 35 private homes and seven apartment buildings, as well as four public buildings. One private home was completely destroyed, two sustained significant damage, and others were affected by the blast wave and debris—windows were shattered, and roofs, doors, and facades were damaged.





Cleanup operations at the impact sites have been completed; commissions are continuing to inspect damaged buildings and document the damage for future restoration and assistance to those affected.
In the Chernihiv district, an energy facility was damaged as a result of the enemy attack, causing a power outage for consumers. Approximately 150,000 customers in the city of Chernihiv and the Chernihiv district are without power.
On March 24, Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on western regions of Ukraine using kamikaze drones. In Lviv, one of the drones struck a building in the city center, causing a fire.
This attack was part of a large-scale air offensive by the Russian Federation that on March 24 swept across several regions of Ukraine, including critical infrastructure facilities in the rear regions.
