Russian strike virtually destroys City Mall shopping center in Zaporizhzhia
In Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, the City Mall shopping center, owned by Arricano Real Estate, was severely damaged and virtually destroyed as a result of a Russian strike. This was reported by ERR News, citing the Estonian publication Postimees and a company statement.
No casualties
Arricano Real Estate stated that the attack by the Russian Federation, an aggressor state, took place on Monday evening. According to the company, City Mall was virtually destroyed, but no one was injured in the strike.
The company reported that it suspended the shopping center's operations on September 2 due to the security situation. Arricano Real Estate also stated its intention to rebuild the facility.

Second strike on Arricano facilities in three weeks
The company noted that this was the second Russian strike in three weeks against shopping centers it manages. According to its data, the Sun Gallery shopping center in Kryvyi Rih was destroyed in a drone attack on August 21.
As Postimees writes, Russian drones attacked Sun Gallery twice. The publication reported 16 deaths and 130 injuries. About a month earlier, a Russian missile attack on Kyiv damaged an Arricano shopping center under construction in the Lukianivka area; there were no casualties then.
The largest shareholder of Arricano Real Estate is Estonian citizen Rauno Teder. Jüri Põld and Margus Kurm are associated with the company as owners or board members. Arricano Real Estate is registered in Cyprus and states that it does not plan to cease operations in Ukraine.
