Attacks on Russia's oil infrastructure cost Moscow about $100 million a day

Attacks on Russia's oil infrastructure cost Moscow about $100 million a day

According to Robert Brovdy, commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, strikes on Russian oil facilities are reducing Russia’s export capacity and resulting in losses of approximately $100 million per day, significantly weakening the Russian Federation’s oil logistics. This was reported by SBS Commander Robert Brovdi, call sign "Madyara," on Facebook.

According to Brovdi, a series of attacks on Russian oil logistics facilities has already led to a noticeable drop in export volumes and a redistribution of raw material flows within the country. He noted that daily losses from reduced revenue in the oil market amount to approximately $100 million. The post states that key oil supply logistics routes have been targeted—specifically, the routes through Primorsk, Ust-Luga, Sheskharis in Novorossiysk, and Tuapse. These hubs account for a significant portion of Russian oil exports.

As a result, daily shipment volumes, according to estimates, have decreased by approximately 880,000 barrels, which is equivalent to about 120,000 tons per day or roughly 2,000 rail tank cars.

According to calculations, at the current price of Urals crude, this results in significant financial losses for the Russian budget and export revenues. “Losses in oil revenue amount to approximately $100 million per day,” stated Robert Brovdy.

Brovdy also noted that various components of the Ukrainian defense forces are involved in strikes against oil infrastructure, including the Unmanned Systems Forces, the SBU, the Special Operations Forces, and the Main Intelligence Directorate, which operate within a deep strike system.

According to him, Russia is forced to redistribute oil flows within the country, specifically redirecting part of the supply to ports such as Tuapse, but even these routes remain under pressure from further attacks.

As a result, the commander asserts, the overall stability of Russia’s oil logistics is gradually deteriorating, which directly impacts the country’s ability to maintain export revenues from energy resources.

Journalists have also identified the names of 212,188 Russian soldiers who have died since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.

Russian forces carried out a massive drone attack on the energy infrastructure of the Zhytomyr region, concentrating the strike of approximately 20 drones on a single substation.
