Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has suffered massive losses — between 200,000 and 300,000 soldiers killed or wounded — yet has failed to capture any major city such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, or Kherson. Their “advances” proved insignificant and failed to change the course of the war. This has cornered Moscow and exposed the weakness of its strategy.

Despite limited support from allies in the early stages, Ukraine managed to launch successful counterattacks, break Russia’s naval superiority in the Black Sea, and strike critical Russian infrastructure. This proves that even without direct NATO involvement, the Ukrainian army is capable of holding the front and wearing down the aggressor.
