Ukrainian Forces destroy Russian “Shed” tanks
Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy assault and destroyed Russian “shed” tanks in the Kostiantynivka direction in Donetsk Oblast.
The “East” military grouping reported this on their Facebook page.
“Yesterday, the Russians attempted to break through our positions near Ivanopillia, but soldiers of the 28th Mechanized Brigade stopped them. This time, the enemy used their heavily armored ‘shed’ tanks and about fifteen assault vehicles,” the statement said.
As the enemy approached Ukrainian positions, they encountered intense artillery fire. The destruction of enemy equipment and personnel involved crews of the “Spalakh,” “Kurt&Company,” and “R.V.” units of the 3rd Battalion, pilots of the 2nd MB “Libertas” of the 1st Battalion, and adjacent units.
The tanks were heavily damaged and burned, while Ukrainian forces systematically eliminated Russian assault vehicles.
The border breach near the village of Hrabovske in Sumy Oblast was caused by the irresponsible conduct of servicemen assigned to this sector.
The events in Hrabovske, where on the night of December 20, 2025, Russian forces crossed the state border and forcibly evacuated over 50 Ukrainian civilians to Russia, have the characteristics of a local provocation.
