Ukrainian defenders have eliminated 970 invaders and dozens of artillery systems
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated 970 Russian occupiers, continuing their systematic destruction of enemy personnel and equipment across the entire front line.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of the morning of March 23, 2026, the total losses of the aggressor’s military personnel reached approximately 1,288,850.
In addition to significant losses in manpower, Ukrainian defenders demonstrated high effectiveness in combating the enemy’s unmanned aerial vehicles.
Over the past 24 hours, a record number of tactical-level UAVs—1,999 units—were neutralized.
These figures indicate the intensity of combat operations and the reliable performance of Ukrainian electronic warfare and air defense systems.
The occupiers continue to lose strategic resources necessary for waging a full-scale war.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian artillery crews and drone operators have focused on neutralizing enemy firing positions.
As a result of successful counter-battery operations, 24 Russian artillery systems were destroyed.
The total number of guns and mortars lost by Russia since the start of the invasion now stands at 38,662 units. The occupiers also lost one multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), reducing the enemy’s capacity for massive shelling.
The invaders’ armored units also suffered losses: the destruction of one tank and five armored fighting vehicles has been confirmed.

Total losses of the occupiers’ vehicle fleet are approaching the critical mark of 85,000 units.
