A Ukrainian small-arms scout shot down an FPV drone a split second before it exploded

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, a Ukrainian scout spotted an enemy FPV drone in time and shot it down with a small-arms weapon just a split second before a potential strike.

A video capturing the moment the soldier was saved has been released online. Thanks to his quick reaction, composure, and skill, the Ukrainian soldier managed to evade the enemy attack.

While the Ukrainian scout was carrying out a combat mission, he was spotted and attacked by a Russian FPV kamikaze drone.

The soldier remained calm and, practically at the last moment—a second before a potential hit—opened fire with his small arms. With a well-aimed shot, the enemy drone was destroyed in mid-air, saving the defender’s life.

This was reported on Yuriy Butusov’s Telegram channel.

On the night of July 18, Ukrainian UAVs attacked the Russian Wildberries logistics center in Elektrostal, near Moscow, and in the Tomsk region.

On July 18, Ukrainian drones struck 13 Russian ships in the Azov and Black Seas.

Representatives of the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate were served with notices of suspicion in connection with the shooting in Kyiv.
