The USPA stated that the maritime corridor continues to operate despite attacks by the Russian Federation

The Ukrainian maritime corridor continues to operate despite ongoing Russian attacks on port infrastructure and civilian vessels. Seaports continue to receive merchant ships and handle cargo.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA). The USPA noted that the challenging security situation is influencing the decisions of some shipowners regarding whether to call at Ukrainian ports; however, Ukraine has not imposed any restrictions on the operation of the maritime corridor.

The USPA emphasized that to stabilize the situation, it is necessary to strengthen the protection of port infrastructure and civilian shipping against Russian air attacks. At the same time, the agency, in cooperation with the Ministry of Community, Territorial, and Infrastructure Development, the Ukrainian Navy, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces, continues to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the maritime corridor.
