The most severe damage was recorded in the Halytsynivska community. A driver was killed there as a result of the Russian attack. A truck was also damaged. After the strike, it caught fire. No information about other casualties in the Halytsynivska community has been reported so far.
Homes and transportation damaged in Mykolaiv
Russian drones also attacked Mykolaiv. Two apartment buildings in the city were damaged. Thus, not only transportation infrastructure but also residential infrastructure was targeted. In addition, eight trucks and two trolleybuses were damaged.
Russian attacks on transportation infrastructure can affect not only business operations but also the city’s daily life. Damage to trolleybuses, in particular, may disrupt public transportation. Authorities are currently assessing the consequences of the attack and evaluating the damage.
The Kutsurub community came under artillery fire
Separately, Russian troops attacked the Kutsurub community. During the day, the enemy launched artillery strikes against it. According to preliminary information, no one was injured. “In addition, yesterday afternoon the enemy launched artillery strikes on the Kutsurub community. There were no casualties,” Reshetilov reported.
Thus, over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have used various types of weapons against the Mykolaiv region. Communities across the region were targeted with attack drones and artillery. The region suffered its heaviest losses in the Halytsynivska community, where a driver was killed. In Mykolaiv, residential buildings and vehicles were damaged.
