Five people were killed in Ukraine when "Shahed" drones crashed
In Ukraine, five people have died in recent days as a result of explosions caused by Russian drones that survived their crashes.
This was reported by Defense Minister Advisor Serhiy Beskrestnov.
According to him, the drones did not explode immediately but some time after crashing.
The victims were local residents who approached the crash sites.
The reasons for this behavior of the drones are currently unknown.
Ukrainians are urged not to approach the debris, even if an explosion has already occurred.
The information has been relayed to law enforcement and rescue workers for consideration in their operations.
On April 1, Ukrainian air defenders repelled a large-scale daytime attack, neutralizing 345 out of 361 Russian drones.
The Russians attacked Odesa with more than 60 strike drones, according to Zelenskyy.
