SBU Exposes FSB Agent Who Passed Data on Ukrainian Armed Forces to the Enemy
The counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has detained another woman who worked for the FSB and operated in the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions.
According to the investigation, she collected information about the locations of Defense Forces units and tracked the routes of military train movements, passing this data to the enemy.
This was reported by the SBU.
The suspect gathered coordinates of Defense Forces units and spied on the routes of military trains.
The investigation established that the suspect is an unemployed resident of the city of Fastiv, who moved there from frontline areas of the Donetsk region.
She came to the attention of the enemy through an acquaintance who lives in Russia and cooperates with the FSB.
According to case materials, the agent monitored military trains under the pretext of traveling to visit relatives and acquaintances in Kyiv and Izium. During these trips, she also marked geolocations of military units and defensive fortifications that came into her view.
She immediately transmitted the collected data in the form of Google Maps markers with detailed descriptions to her handler via Telegram.
SBU officers documented the agent’s criminal activity and detained her.
During searches, a smartphone containing evidence of cooperation with the enemy was seized from the suspect.
SBU investigators notified her of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is currently in custody. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
