Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 76 times. The most intense fighting has been reported in the Pokrovsk direction. In addition, the enemy is showing increased activity in the Huliaipole direction, where combat clashes are also ongoing.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, releasing operational information as of 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27.
Russian forces today struck the areas of Rohizne, Volfyne, Kucheriivka, Sopych, Korenka, Ryzhivka, Atynske, Holyshivske, Malushyne, Ulanove, and Iskriskivshchyna in Sumy Oblast, as well as Tymonovychi in Chernihiv Oblast.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, Russian forces fired on settlements and Defense Forces positions 22 times, including three times using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the Russian army attempted six times to improve its position in the areas of Ternove, Starytsia, and Okhrimivka. One of these attempts is ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched four assaults toward Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, Kivsharivka, and Novoosynove.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attempts by Russian troops to advance toward Drobysheve and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk direction, the invaders launched four assaults toward Zakitne and Rai-Oleksandrivka. One of these is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy launched a single attack toward Nikiforivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces carried out seven attacks toward Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopil, Illinivka, Rusyno Yar, and Sofiivka. One of these attempts to advance is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of the day, Russian forces have attempted 29 times to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions toward Bilytske, Zatyshko, Novyi Shakhovyi, Dorozhnyi, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetsk, Novopidhorodne, and Novopavlivka. Four of these attacks are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the invaders launched three attacks toward Novohryhorivka and Verbove. One of the attacks is ongoing.
Enemy aircraft struck Lisne, Novoselivka, and Pokrovske.
In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces launched 13 attacks toward Ukrainian positions in the areas of Dobropillia, Pryluky, Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Myrne, and Zahirne. Two of these attacks are ongoing.
The Russian Federation’s air force struck Rizdvyanka, Verkhnia Tersa, Shyroke, Svoboda, Dolynka, Rivne, Novoselivka, and Lyubytske.
In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders have not yet launched any assault operations today, but they carried out airstrikes on the areas of Chervona Krynytsia, Zaporozhets, and Novooleksandrivka.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy carried out three assaults in the areas of Bilohrudy Island and Antonivsky Bridge. One of them is ongoing.
There have been no significant changes on other sectors of the front. Russian troops are not making any new attempts to advance.
