Video: Drones Attacked Krasnodar and Caused a Fire at a Warehouse
On August 24, Krasnodar was attacked by drones, after which a massive fire broke out at one of the warehouses. According to Russian authorities and the company Ozon, employees were evacuated, operations at the logistics center were suspended, and there are reportedly no injuries among the staff.
According to preliminary information, a warehouse building belonging to the company “CMM-K,” with an area of approximately 9,000 m², was struck by drones in Krasnodar. The facility was a large wholesale and warehousing center where construction supplies were stored and sold, including fasteners, hardware, hand tools and drilling tools, cutting discs, construction foams, adhesives, sealants, and chemical anchors.
At the same time, information spread on local social media groups that the fire occurred at an Ozon marketplace facility. It is speculated that the affected premises may have been used as a dual-purpose warehouse.
Earlier, warehouses caught fire in Akulovo, near Moscow.
As a reminder, Ukrainian Armed Forces drones flew as far as the Arkhangelsk region—located approximately 1,900 km from the border with Ukraine—for the first time. Their target may have been the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, Russia’s only active military spaceport.
Robert Brovdi (call sign “Madyar”), commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, reported on August 23 on the results of operations against Russian terrorist targets.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out localized counterattacks and advanced on several sections of the front. According to the Institute for the Study of War, Ukrainian forces halted the Russian advance in the Kozacha Lopan area and also achieved successes near Kostiantynivka and in the Zaporizhzhia region.
