Video: Drones attacked a defense plant in the Tambov Region and Moscow
Drones struck the Progress plant in Michurinsk, Tambov Oblast, Russia, which manufactures high-tech equipment for aviation and rocket technology. There are also reports of drone attacks on Moscow and the activation of air defense systems.
Local residents reported explosions in Michurinsk after midnight. In eyewitness videos, the sound of drones flying overhead can be heard, and the moment of the strike on the plant is visible—a fire broke out at the facility. The OSINT public account Exilenova+ also reported the attack. The extent of the damage and details about casualties are being clarified.
JSC "Michurinsky Plant 'Progress'" is one of the five largest enterprises in the Tambov region, specializing in the production of equipment for aviation and missile control systems. The product range includes:
- gyroscopic devices for flight stabilization and control;
- course indicators and autopilots that provide navigation and automatic control;
- angular velocity sensors and other components of flight navigation systems.
These products are used in Russian combat aircraft, helicopters, and missile systems.
