Video: The Main Intelligence Directorate intercepted a conversation in Russia following the strike on the Omsk Oil Refinery
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has released an intercepted conversation between a Russian civilian woman and a servicemember of the Russian Federation’s 41st Combined Arms Army. In the conversation, the woman describes a severe gasoline shortage, which has significantly worsened following the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces’ strike on the Omsk Oil Refinery on July 6.
The occupier’s interlocutor laments that, due to the appearance of drones in the Novosibirsk region, she fears they will reach Tomsk and states that she has absolutely no understanding of what is happening in the country.
The Tyumen Oil Refinery in Russia has completely halted oil refining and the production of petroleum products following a drone attack on July 25. According to Russian sources, the strike damaged the facility’s key production facilities.
Losses incurred by Russian retailers from the July 22 drone attacks on Wildberries warehouses in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk could amount to approximately 100–120 billion rubles (1.27–1.53 billion U.S. dollars), assuming the warehouses were fully stocked and most of the goods were destroyed.
