Video: Madyar confirmed that Ukrainian drones struck a strategic chemical plant in Togliatti
Major Robert Madyar Brovdi, commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, confirmed that the "KuibyshevAzot" plant in Togliatti (Samara Oblast, Russian Federation) had been struck by Ukrainian drones.
The commander posted this on social media.
“Drones from the 1st Operational Command of the Special Forces struck ‘KuibyshevAzot’ in Togliatti. This is a strategic chemical enterprise of the Russian Federation that operates within the aggressor’s military-industrial complex and produces components for the manufacture of explosives, raw materials for ammunition, and high-viscosity polyamides used in the defense sector, particularly for missiles. And yes, of course, the debris from the downed drones must have landed somewhere nearby… As they say in Samara, ‘Air defense shot them down—the plant put them out,’” Brovdi noted.
As a reminder, explosions were heard overnight in Togliatti, Russia, following a drone attack. Fires broke out near two large chemical plants.
On the night of April 4, Russia attacked Ukraine with nearly three hundred drones. Air defense forces neutralized 260 of them. At the same time, hits and falling debris were recorded in several regions.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and 25 others were wounded in Russian attacks over the past 24 hours. Kherson and dozens of settlements in the region were targeted.
