Video: In Donetsk Oblast, the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured two Russian soldiers without firing a shot
Footage of a special operation carried out by Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk sector has been released online. Operators from the 4th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine approached Russian troop positions undetected and took the enemy by surprise.
During the special operation in the Donetsk sector, the Special Operations Forces soldiers operated covertly and were able to get within close range of enemy positions.
Russian servicemen did not expect the arrival of Ukrainian special forces, which allowed the operation to be carried out without a prolonged battle.
Thanks to the swift and coordinated actions of the Ukrainian soldiers, the enemy lost the ability to resist and was forced to surrender.
As a result of the operation, two Russian servicemen were taken prisoner by Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian side, the special forces managed to capture them without firing a single shot.
The released footage shows Ukrainian soldiers conducting the operation and maintaining control of the situation after the Russian troops ceased resistance.
Special Operations Forces operations in the Donetsk sector are ongoing, and the release of this video serves as further evidence of the work carried out by Ukrainian special forces behind enemy lines and near enemy positions.

The Ukrainian military reported on the operation.
Over the past day, 263 combat engagements took place on the front lines. Russian troops carried out the most attacks in the Pokrovsk sector—49—while another 17 assaults were recorded in the Kostiantynivka sector.
Over the past few days, Ukrainian defense forces have advanced in the Sloviansk sector of the Donetsk region.
On September 9, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated data on Russian military losses. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 1,480 invaders, and Russia’s total losses have exceeded 1.5 million troops.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to a Russian attack.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
