Video: Russian soldier fired an RPG at his own feet
At a Russian military training range, a soldier nearly blew himself up during a live-fire exercise after firing an RPG-7 from too low an angle.
Footage released shows the projectile falling right in front of the grenadier and getting stuck in the ground. Under different circumstances, the explosion could have caused serious injuries not only to the shooter himself but also to soldiers standing nearby.
After the incident, the instructor who was filming the firing session began to emotionally berate the soldier. Judging by his reaction, the round was not a dummy.
The incident occurred during a training exercise by Russian occupiers. On social media, the video has already sparked a wave of ridicule over the Russian military’s level of training.
As a reminder, on the night of August 16, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of key military facilities belonging to Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories.
On the night of August 17, Ukrainian forces struck facilities involved in the storage, preparation, and launch of attack drones, as well as their control systems in Crimea and the Kherson region.
