Video: Drones Have Again Attacked the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation

On the night of July 9, Russia’s Rostov Region came under yet another drone attack. According to reports from Russian authorities, explosions were heard near Azov, air defense forces were deployed, and two tankers were damaged in the Taganrog Gulf.

 

According to official reports, a fire broke out in the Azov area after drone debris fell. Reeds caught fire in a quarry located far from residential areas. Fire department units were called in to extinguish the blaze.

Meanwhile, in the Taganrog Gulf, two tankers were again targeted by drones. According to the Russian side, the vessels sustained mechanical damage.

Fires broke out on both tankers after being struck. As of the time this information was released, the fire on one of the vessels was still burning, while the fire on the other had already been extinguished.

Russian authorities claim that there were no casualties as a result of the attack. The crews of both tankers were evacuated. Information on the extent of the damage is being clarified.

Local residents reported a series of explosions and the activation of air defense systems in the Azov region. There is currently no independent confirmation of the attack’s consequences.
