Video: A system for group control of drones via fiber-optic cable has been developed in Ukraine
The Ukrainian company 3DTech has unveiled the HYDRA Khizhak REBOFF Digital unmanned aerial system, which consists of “Khizhak” fiber-optic FPV drones and the Hydra ground station for controlling a group of drones. The system is designed to improve the effectiveness of drone operations in the face of electronic warfare countermeasures.
According to the developers, the ground station can simultaneously operate five drones, transmit video in real time, and quickly switch between them.
In addition, the system is equipped with automatic target detection capabilities using artificial intelligence technologies and supports video streaming to the DELTA and “Vezha” platforms. The maximum claimed flight range of the “Predator” fiber-optic FPV drones is up to 30 kilometers.
3DTech notes that the HYDRA “Predator” REBOFF Digital unmanned aerial system is designed for group operations, provides high strike intensity, simultaneous launches of multiple drones, and the execution of coordinated, massive attacks.
The developers also reported that the system is already available on the DOT-Chain and Brave1 Market platforms.
On the night of August 5, a massive Russian attack on Kyiv completely destroyed the “Nova Poshta” sorting center. Three people were killed in the attack, and significant damage to civilian infrastructure was also reported.
As a reminder, eight people were killed in the Brovary district while waiting for a train as a result of the Russian attack.
As a result of Russia’s nighttime missile attack on the night of August 5, production and logistics facilities belonging to the company “Epicenter” sustained significant damage. One employee was killed, and three others were injured.
As a result of a Russian drone attack on August 4 in Dnipro, a warehouse belonging to the company “Biosfera”—which was part of a 20,000-square-meter warehouse complex—was completely destroyed.
