Video: Volodymyr Zelenskyy Confirms Successful Strike on Russian Space Communications Center
The Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a successful long-range strike on the “Dubna” space communications center, located in the Moscow Region.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially confirmed this operation, emphasizing the importance of disabling the aggressor’s military infrastructure.
This facility is of strategic importance to the enemy, as it is used for reconnaissance and to coordinate the actions of the occupying forces on Ukrainian territory.
The distance from the state border to the target exceeds 500 kilometers, which demonstrates the high effectiveness of Ukrainian weapons systems.
“Today, our long-range strikes against Russia in response to this war once again reached the ‘Dubna’ space communications center in the Moscow region. This is a specialized satellite communications facility used, in particular, for reconnaissance and coordination of the activities of Russia’s occupying forces in Ukraine,” the head of state said.
It is worth noting that this is not the first such operation by the Ukrainian military behind enemy lines.
Previously, the Defense Forces had already carried out successful strikes on four similar targets in the Moscow and Vladimir regions.
“We are systematically implementing our plan for long-range sanctions and making it as difficult as possible for the aggressor state to conduct its invasion operations against Ukraine and occupy our territories. Appropriate actions are also being prepared against other similar enemy targets,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on Telegram.
