Worms, flies, and cockroaches: an occupier complained that he was rotting alive due to the lack of evacuation
A wounded Russian soldier in the Kostiantynivka area complained about the lack of evacuation and medical care. According to him, because his wounds have begun to fester, he is being attacked by flies, maggots, and cockroaches.
This is evidenced by an intercepted communication from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
In the intercepted conversation, the occupier says that after receiving first aid, the wounded were essentially left to fend for themselves. He says that insects are “eating” them right through their bandages, and conditions at the front lines make proper treatment impossible.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, this incident is yet another indication that the Russian command is failing to provide evacuation and proper medical care to its wounded servicemen.
