Russian forces dropped KAB bombs on a village near Zaporizhzhia; many were wounded
Russian forces carried out an airstrike using two guided bombs on the village of Volodymyrivka near Zaporizhzhia, injuring five people, including a child.
The attack damaged and partially destroyed private homes. Among the injured are two women, two men, and a 13-year-old boy; all of the victims are receiving the necessary medical care.
Mykhailo Semikin, acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
On the evening of September 22, Russian troops dropped an aerial bomb on a residential area in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast. As a result of the strike, the Church of St. John the Baptist sustained significant damage, and 10 apartment buildings and a car were damaged.
In Zaporizhzhia, a fire broke out after a Russian strike on the “Amstor” shopping center.
On the morning of September 23, a Russian attack in Kyiv caused large-scale fires at civilian sites. In particular, the “Shayba” market near the train station—where “Velyka Kyshenya” used to operate—is on fire.
Eight people were injured in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack on September 23. One of the wounded, who had been hospitalized in critical condition, died in the hospital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.
On the night of September 23, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 161 strike drones of various types. Among them were 82 jet-powered UAVs. As of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces had destroyed or neutralized 119 enemy drones and three more “Banderole”/“Dan-T” drones.
Since the evening of September 22, Russian troops have attacked two districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 10 times. The occupiers used drones and dropped aerial bombs; one person was injured as a result of the attacks.
We should add that drones attacked the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions overnight.
As a reminder, Russia struck Kharkiv on the night of September 23, resulting in one fatality.
On the morning of September 23, air raid alerts were declared in Kyiv and several regions due to the threat of UAVs.
