Enemy strikes hit transport infrastructure in Chernihiv
Russian forces have attacked transport infrastructure in Chernihiv. According to preliminary reports, one person has been injured, with details still being clarified. This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi.
He added that the attack took place during an air raid alert that had been in effect in the region since early morning. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had earlier warned on Telegram about the movement of hostile drones over the Chernihiv region.
“The situation is under control. Relevant services are working to minimise the consequences of the attack,” Bryzhynskyi said.
Local residents report a tense situation at transport hubs and are urging people to follow safety rules during air raid alerts. The city administration emphasises the need to remain in shelters until an official all-clear signal is given.
It is also reported that Russian forces have advanced near Hryshyne and Riznykivka in the Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian Air Force has warned of increased activity of Russian drones.
In addition, Ukrainian forces have reportedly disrupted a Russian offensive that had been planned for March.
