Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost 1,070 troops — General Staff
It is now the 1,463rd day of the full-scale war launched by Russia against Ukraine. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 1,070 Russian servicemen. The total losses of the Russian army in manpower — killed and wounded — have already exceeded 1.2 million.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, as of 25 February 2026, the estimated losses of Russian occupying forces in Ukraine are as follows:

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 83 air strikes and dropped 220 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 5,964 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,293 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 136 using multiple launch rocket systems.
