Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated approximately 1,500 Russian occupiers

Over the past day, on July 17, Russian occupiers lost 1,420 personnel in the war in Ukraine. Thus, the enemy’s total losses during the full-scale invasion now stand at approximately 1,427,410 personnel.

This was reported in the latest update from the General Staff on Facebook.

 

Also on July 17, the following were destroyed:

  • Three tanks; total losses since the full-scale invasion in 2022 amount to 12,151 units.
  • 10 armored combat vehicles—24,956 units.
  • 85 artillery systems—46,169 units
  • Three multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS)—1,946 units.
  • Six air defense systems—1,502 units.
  • One aircraft – 438 units
  • 11 ground-based robotic systems – 1,943 units
  • 1,914 operational-tactical-level UAVs – 414,798 units
  • Five cruise missiles – 4,914 units
  • 526 vehicles and tankers – 121,742 units
  • Four units of specialized equipment – 4,428 (+4) units.

As a reminder, on July 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced successful long-range strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces against Russian military and infrastructure targets.

Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, released a video showing the destruction of Russian ships belonging to the so-called “shadow fleet” of the Russian Federation.

The Russians attempted to shoot down a Ukrainian drone and accidentally destroyed their own ammunition depot.
