Moscow reported that nearly 400 drones had been shot down

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 379 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight on July 18 over several regions of the Russian Federation. Judging by videos from the crash sites, not all of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ high-quality drones were shot down.

 

The Russian Ministry of Defense asserts that the drones were neutralized over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Smolensk, Ryazan, Kaluga, Tula, Tambov, Oryol, Lipetsk, Tver, Pskov, Voronezh, Rostov, Volgograd, Leningrad, and Vladimir regions, as well as the Moscow region and Krasnodar Krai. Enemy air defense systems were also active over the annexed Crimea, the Azov Sea, and the Black Sea.

As a reminder, on the morning of July 18, residents of the Moscow region reported a fire and explosions. OSINT analysts determined that an oil depot in Noginsk, Moscow region, was on fire.

On the night of July 18, Ukrainian UAVs attacked the Russian Wildberries logistics center in Elektrostal, near Moscow, and in the Tomsk region.

In Crimea, Ukrainian drones set fire to two substations and the Gvardeyskoye airfield.
