Ukrainian drones struck 13 Russian ships in the Azov and Black Seas

On the night of July 18, the Unmanned Systems Forces struck 13 Russian vessels, one of which was in the Sea of Azov. Among the targets were two floating cranes, in addition to dry cargo ships, tankers, and tugs.


According to Robert Brovdi (call sign “Madyar), commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, 13 vessels belonging to the Russian occupiers’ shadow fleet were taken out on July 18. 

Among them were:

  •  8 dry cargo ships,
  • one tanker,
  • one gas tanker,  
  • a tugboat,
  • two floating cranes. 

“During the period of the SBS Operation ‘MoLoChKa’ from July 6 to 18, SBS ‘Ptakh’ units struck 172 vessels belonging to the Russian Federation’s shadow fleet.
By sea:

As a reminder, on July 18, Ukrainian drones attacked Wildberries warehouses in Kotovsk and Elektrostal, Russia.

In Crimea, Ukrainian drones set fire to two substations and the Gvardeyskoye airfield.

In the Black Sea near Novorossiysk, drones attacked the oil tanker Nordic Zenith, which, according to Reuters sources, was chartered by ExxonMobil. A fire broke out on the ship after the strike, and part of the crew was evacuated.
