Zelenskyy Discussed Stepping Up Diplomatic Efforts with Witkoff and Kushner
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump. This was reported by Presidential Advisor Dmytro Lytvyn and by Zelenskyy himself in a post.
According to Zelenskyy, the parties discussed stepping up diplomatic efforts to bring about peace. The president called the conversation “good and important,” emphasizing that Ukraine needs “peace with dignity” and has long been ready for it.
Zelenskyy also noted that the Ukrainian and American teams remain in close contact to continue working on the issues discussed. He thanked Witkoff and Kushner for their personal efforts toward peace, and Trump and the American people for their unwavering support of Ukraine.
