Zelenskyy Explained How Ukraine Is Assembling Hundreds of Missiles Piece by Piece

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine receives missiles from its partners in small batches. According to him, the country manages to collect a hundred missiles—one or two at a time—directly from the leaders of other countries.

 

The president was responding to a journalist’s question about how many missiles Ukraine receives at a time.

“Two at a time. One at a time. We’re taking these steps… which we’ll talk about later, after the war. No one is talking about hundreds or thousands. Hundreds are being gathered, one or two missiles at a time. It’s very complicated work,” Zelenskyy explained.

According to him, these two, three, or five missiles are provided personally by world leaders, and by no one else.

“If you ask a team to work with another team, there will be no results. Because this product is in such short supply and is so expensive,” the president added.

Zelenskyy noted that the only country that could provide large-scale assistance is the United States.

“Without a doubt, the only country that could help on a massive scale is the U.S. I’m asking President Trump to come to the meeting, even though there’s a huge shortage and even though everyone’s stockpiles are half-empty because of the war in the Middle East—I’ll be honest. But we’re working with everyone,” he said, according to Suspilne.

Earlier, Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia struck Kyiv while sanctions were being discussed.

Russia launched a missile attack on Kyiv on the night of September 24, leaving two dead and eight injured.

Earlier in Sumy, water supply was restricted following an airstrike due to power outages.

We should add that drones attacked the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions overnight.

As a reminder, Russia struck Kharkiv on the night of September 23, resulting in one fatality.

On the morning of September 23, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and several regions due to the threat of UAVs.
