Russians attacked a high school in the Kyiv region—a fire broke out

Russian troops attacked Ivankiv Lyceum No. 2 in the Vyshhorod District of Kyiv Oblast with a drone this evening. After the strike, a fire broke out in the building, engulfing more than 300 square meters. The children were no longer in the building at the time, so no one was injured.

Rescue workers arrived at the scene. They are working to contain and extinguish the fire. “Fortunately, there were no children left in the school,” Tkachenko said.

According to him, about 1,100 children attend Ivankiv Lyceum No. 2. At the time of the attack, there were no students in the building. Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured as a result of the strike. Rescue workers continue to operate at the scene. Information regarding the consequences of the attack may be updated. A 14-year-old boy who was killed during the Russian attack on Kyiv on the morning of September 25 was an Israeli citizen. His mother was also injured in the strike. This was reported by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which condemned the Russian attack.

In Kyiv’s Solomyanskyi district, four people were killed when an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) struck an office building. Seven others were also injured in the attack.
