Ukrainian defense forces eliminated Russian occupier Sukhrob Sidikov, a former medalist at the World University Boxing Championships.
Sidikov was born in Dushanbe but built his athletic career in Russia. He held the title of Master of Sports, was the Russian student champion, and won the 2013 Universiade in Kazan.
The boxer also won awards at international tournaments, including a bronze medal at the “Makar Mazay Memorial” in Mariupol and a silver medal at the 2014 World Student Championships.
No official information has been released regarding the circumstances or date of his death.
It is known that his funeral took place on April 14 in the city of Syzran.
