Russians attacked the Chernihiv region 47 times over the past day; one person was wounded
Over the past day, 47 Russian shelling attacks on border communities were recorded in the Chernihiv region, resulting in injuries to a civilian. Civilian facilities, businesses, and private infrastructure were targeted. New fires and damage are being reported in the region.
Border communities in Chernihiv Oblast once again came under heavy fire from Russian troops, who carried out 47 attacks over the past day, striking civilian infrastructure, businesses, and private properties, which resulted in a civilian being injured and further destruction in the region. The most serious incident occurred in Semenivka, where an FPV drone struck a civilian man, who was hospitalized, and also damaged a car.
In the Horodnya community, a drone attack caused a fire at a farm, where the roof of a building caught fire; later, in Horodnya itself, another business was struck, resulting in a fire and damage to freight vehicles. In the morning, a new strike in the Semenivska community again hit a business, damaging warehouse and utility buildings, and in the Novhorod-Siverskyi community, a truck, a grain silo, and a local store were damaged as a result of drone attacks, indicating a systematic pattern of strikes against the region’s civilian and agricultural infrastructure. This was reported on Telegram by Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.
In the Kherson region, 13 people were wounded as a result of Russian shelling over the past day, and more than 40 settlements in the region came under attack.
In the Sumy region, ten people were injured as a result of a massive attack by Russian drones; among them is a woman who was seriously injured and suffered severe burns.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a 56-year-old woman was killed as a result of Russian shelling, and two other people, including a 13-year-old girl, were injured. Enemy strikes hit several districts of the region at once, causing damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
Russian troops carried out 924 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Forty-two settlements came under fire. According to the regional military administration, one person was killed and 29 others were wounded, including three children.
