In Vyshneve, entire streets have been destroyed following an attack by the Russian Federation; the evacuation of residents is ongoing
In Vyshneve, Kyiv Oblast, the evacuation of residents continues following a massive Russian attack on July 6 due to the threat of unexploded ordnance detonating again. According to the regional military administration, nearly five streets have suffered extensive damage, and three injured people are in serious condition.
“Most importantly, 279 residents were evacuated from the area where the dangerous incidents occurred. Detonations are still taking place. Law enforcement, the police, the State Emergency Service, and municipal services are on standby. As soon as we receive authorization, we will begin dismantling the destroyed structures,” said Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, during a televised broadcast.
According to him, rescue workers are searching basements for people who may have taken shelter during the strike and are also determining whether there are any residents still in need of evacuation.

Kalashnik noted that the consequences of the attack are extensive.
“There is a great deal of work to be done; the consequences are devastating—nearly five streets have been completely destroyed. That’s dozens of buildings and numerous fires. Water is being delivered by tanker trucks, and utility services are on the scene,” he said.

Resilience centers and temporary disaster response headquarters have been set up on site, and social services and psychologists are on the scene.
According to the latest data, 26 people were injured as a result of the Russian attack in the Kyiv region, including two children—a nine-month-old infant and a 12-year-old. Eighteen of the injured were hospitalized, three of whom are in serious condition.

The situation remains most critical in Vyshneve, where a large-scale fire broke out in a warehouse complex following the strike. According to Kalashnik, a total of about 500 people have been evacuated from the danger zone.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on Russia’s massive nighttime attack on Kyiv on July 6, during which the occupiers launched 68 missiles and deployed 351 attack drones.
During the morning shelling on July 6, Russian terrorists struck the DAO sorting terminal of the “Nova Poshta” company in Dnipro. The strike caused a fire on the premises, which rescue workers quickly extinguished.
The Russians last launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of July 2. On that occasion, Russian forces launched 496 UAVs of various types and 74 missiles—including air-, ground-, and sea-based missiles of various types—at Ukraine.
