The Ukrainian Armed Forces are expanding their system for collecting digital evidence of Russian war crimes
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are expanding their system for collecting and preserving digital evidence of potential war crimes directly from the battlefield.
This was reported by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The decision was made by order of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi. The Military Law Enforcement Service will coordinate these efforts.
This involves integrating mechanisms for collecting, storing, and processing digital information into combat systems for subsequent use in legal proceedings.
According to representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, modern technologies—including unmanned systems, aerial reconnaissance, and digital situational awareness platforms—allow for the documentation of potential violations of international humanitarian law even in areas inaccessible to investigators.
During testing of this model since October 2025, 99 potential war crimes have already been recorded.
The occupiers complain that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are using drones to cut off the land corridor to Crimea.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 1,020 Russian troops on the front lines over the past 24 hours.
