In the Kherson region, a police evacuation vehicle was blown up by a landmine
In the Kherson region, an armored police vehicle that was evacuating a civilian from a dangerous area struck an explosive device.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Police.
The incident occurred during the evacuation of a 61-year-old man from one of the villages in the Novooleksandrivka community, which is under constant Russian shelling.
As a result of the explosion, the armored vehicle sustained damage, including two punctured tires. However, no one was injured.
Despite the threat of attacks by Russian drones, law enforcement officers quickly replaced the damaged tires and completed the evacuation, transporting the man to a safer settlement.
As a reminder, a civilian vessel struck a Russian mine in the Black Sea.
Additionally, dozens of partner countries have joined Ukraine’s humanitarian demining coalition.
