The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck bridges, an FSB post, and the occupiers' communications hubs
On the night of August 4, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes against key military targets of the Russian occupiers. Targets included an FSB outpost, road and rail bridges, maintenance units, communications hubs, and facilities supporting the operation of attack drones.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck a temporary deployment site of a Russian FSB unit in the village of Shchaslyvtseve in the Kherson region.
The enemy’s losses are currently being assessed.
Ukrainian forces also struck a road bridge across the Seim River near the village of Zvane in Russia’s Kursk Oblast and a railway bridge across the Molochna River in the Svitlodolynskyi district of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Russian troops used these crossings for military logistics and to transport personnel, equipment, and weapons.
In addition, the Defense Forces struck Russian military repair units in Vovchansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Vilne, Donetsk Oblast.
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Ukrainian military struck a communications and power supply facility for a “Geran/Gerbera”-type strike drone repeater in Olenivka and a tower equipped with electronic warfare systems in Artemivka.
Additionally, in the temporarily occupied city of Bakhmut, a Russian military command post and a communications hub used to coordinate the actions of the occupying forces were struck.
The General Staff emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to systematically destroy the enemy’s military infrastructure, disrupting its logistics, command-and-control systems, and support for combat units.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also announced that the Security Service of Ukraine is preparing new operations against Russia. During a meeting with SBU Director Oleksandr Poklad, the head of state heard a report on the agency’s plans and priorities for August and approved the corresponding measures.
On the night of August 4, 2026, drones attacked the distribution center of “Lenta,” one of Russia’s largest supermarket chains, in the Leningrad Oblast. The strike caused a fire at the facility, and operations at the goods receiving warehouse were temporarily suspended.
