Wildberries Wants to Hide from Drones in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan
The Russian marketplace Wildberries, which lost 20% of its warehouse capacity due to drone attacks, has decided to redirect goods intended for long-term storage to warehouses in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
The company has already begun moving products abroad to its own and leased facilities to protect them from potential attacks. However, Russian sellers fear problems with customs clearance, as a significant portion of the goods was supplied to Russia through gray and black market channels, which will create difficulties primarily for small and medium-sized businesses.

On the night of August 4, drones attacked warehouse facilities in the Moscow and Leningrad regions of Russia. A fire broke out following the strike in Chekhov, and authorities in the Leningrad region confirmed an attack on a warehouse at the Wildberries logistics complex in the village of Krasny Bor.
Wildberries is currently building complexes in Astana and Almaty, but they are not scheduled to become operational until the first quarter of 2027.
