The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck an occupiers' training ground in Donetsk Oblast

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have launched a new series of strikes against Russian military targets and occupation forces. A training ground in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, drone command centers, personnel concentrations, and a number of strategic targets deep within Russia came under fire.

The General Staff reported that these strikes are intended to weaken the Russian army’s offensive capabilities. Some of the results of previous attacks have already been confirmed.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on July 10 and during the night of July 11, Ukrainian forces struck a number of important enemy military targets. One of the main targets was the “Kalmiuske” combined-arms training ground, located near the temporarily occupied town of Dokuchaevsk in the Donetsk region. The military is currently assessing the extent of the damage and the consequences of the strike.

Drone command centers were hit

In addition to the training ground, Ukrainian forces attacked command centers for Russian drones. Specifically, strikes were carried out against targets in the Krysanovo area of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation and in Pershotravneve, Zaporizhzhia region.

The Ukrainian military also struck areas where Russian troops were concentrated in Horlivka, Donetsk Oblast, and the village of Karizh in Kursk Oblast, Russia. The General Staff emphasized that all these strikes are part of a systematic effort to reduce the combat capabilities of the Russian army.

The General Staff provided updated details on the results of previous attacks

In addition to the new strikes, the Ukrainian military released updated results of several successful operations carried out in recent weeks. According to the General Staff, following the June 27 strike on the JSC “FNVC ‘Titan-Barricades’” facility in Volgograd, preliminary direct damages are estimated at approximately $105 million.

Following the July 4 attack on the St. Petersburg oil terminal, several large fuel storage tanks, process pipelines, and other production equipment were damaged. The consequences of the strike on the “Slavnafta-YANOS” oil refinery in Yaroslavl have also been confirmed. There, a direct hit on the AVT-6 unit and damage to two other processing units were recorded.

Damage was reported at the airfield and two oil refineries

The General Staff also reported on the results of the strike on the “Borisoglebsk” military airfield in the Voronezh region. According to military sources, 28 tanks containing aviation fuel, with a total volume of about 1,600 cubic meters, caught fire following the attack.

In addition, a successful strike on the “TAIF-NK” oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk (Republic of Tatarstan) has been confirmed. The strike caused a fire at the slow coking unit and damaged cable trays, pipelines, and technical structures. On July 10, the Ukrainian military launched another strike against the Ilsk Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Krai. There, the AT-5 and AT-6 units caught fire, pipelines were damaged, and fires were reported near other production facilities.

Ukraine continues to strike at Russia’s military logistics

The General Staff emphasizes that strikes on training grounds, command posts, airfields, fuel depots, and enterprises serving the Russian military-industrial complex are aimed at weakening the logistics and combat capabilities of the occupying army. “The extent of the damage inflicted and the results of the strikes are being assessed,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia is preparing a new wave of mobilization involving at least tens of thousands of people. According to him, the situation was discussed during a detailed meeting on defense issues. The head of state also heard reports from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov.

Russia may announce another mobilization this fall amid the difficult situation on the Ukrainian front, the failure of the winter-spring offensive, and significant losses. This was stated by State Duma Deputy Andriy Gurulov, who linked the possible decision to Russia’s military setbacks in the war against Ukraine.
