Ukrainian defense forces pushed back Russian troops near the village of Ambarne in the South Slobozhanskyi sector of the Kharkiv region and regained control of some areas.
This was reported by the analytical project DeepState.
According to analysts, units of the 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade carried out a successful operation in the forested areas near the settlement, destroyed enemy forces, and cleared the territory.
It is noted that Ukrainian troops are systematically driving out the occupiers and preventing them from consolidating their positions or regaining lost ground.
According to updated DeepState maps, Ukrainian defenders have liberated approximately 5.7 square kilometers north of Ambarne—in the direction of Melove and the state border.
Previously, according to the project’s information, Russian troops advanced along the Ambarne–Opytne line in this sector of the front several months ago.
Ambarne is a border village in the Velykoburlutsk community of the Kupianskyi district in the Kharkiv region.
As a reminder, the situation on the front lines for the Ukrainian Defense Forces is the best it has been since June of last year.
