The Ukrainian Armed Forces have identified three objectives for strikes against the occupiers in Crimea

Ukrainian military officials have outlined the main objectives of the strikes on occupied Crimea. Specifically, the goal is to prevent the peninsula from being used as a military hub for Russian forces.

This was reported by Oleksandr Musienko, a serviceman with the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a military expert, during an interview on Radio NV.

He noted that it does not matter much to Ukraine where the Russian invaders will relocate from occupied Sevastopol.

“Our goal is to carry out the demilitarization process and destroy all remnants of the Black Sea Fleet. As for where they will flee, to which locations, and where they will hide on Russian territory—or where they will go underground—that is a secondary issue,” the speaker emphasized.

The expert added that it is important for Ukraine to destroy Russian capabilities, and this is precisely what the Defense Forces are focusing on. According to him, Ukrainian defenders are effectively tackling three tasks.

“The first is our air offensive campaign against the enemy group in occupied Crimea and on the left bank of the Kherson region, which consists of striking and reducing the capabilities of air defense systems and, as a result, to strike depots where various types of weapons, ammunition, and fuel and lubricants may be stored. That is, to disrupt the enemy group’s supply lines,” he noted.

At the same time, the second objective involves disrupting the occupiers’ logistics, which have been established in the occupied southern regions of Ukraine along the route connecting to Crimea, with the peninsula serving as a logistics hub, particularly for the invading forces on the left bank of the Kherson region. Crimea is also used as a hub for launching airstrikes against the Odesa region and other Ukrainian regions.

“The second objective is to disrupt these logistics and create the most unfavorable conditions possible for the enemy,” Musienko added.

In addition, the third objective is to force Russia to permanently abandon the use of military infrastructure and bases in occupied Crimea by the Black Sea Fleet.

“It is of fundamental importance for us to drive them out of there and pin them down in harbors farther away, closer to Russian territory, Novorossiysk, etc., and not give them the opportunity to act. We must completely deprive Russia of the ability to use the Black Sea for military purposes,” said the military officer.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces also aim to inflict damage on Russian military assets, as any loss of air defense systems requires time to restore.

As a reminder, in Tuapse, residents were urged to evacuate following a drone attack (video).

Residents of the Russian city of Tuapse are increasingly complaining about the unbearable living conditions in the frontline city. The once-popular resort has turned into an area of environmental disaster and constant danger due to regular explosions at local industrial facilities.

In Tuapse, Russia, while cleaning up the aftermath of an oil spill, the city beach was covered with a new layer of pebbles. At the same time, local residents and environmentalists claim that traces of fuel oil are still visible near the water and that a full cleanup has not taken place.
